The mission of the Wyomissing Recreation Board is to meet the multigenerational recreation needs of our community. The Board seeks to enrich the lives of all Wyomissing residents by providing quality community events, well-maintained recreational facilities, and accessible and safe parks and playgrounds.

We have decided to create a Playground Scholarship Fund so that we as a community can ensure that children who want to participate are able to do so, regardless of financial need. This new scholarship fund will be utilized by the Recreation Board, which will work in conjunction with the Wilson School District and the Wyomissing Area School District, to determine which families would best benefit from it.

Sponsorship of the Playground Scholarship Fund can take many forms. You might decide to donate funds directly, or you might decide to sponsor a child to attend our playground program. Any size contribution is appreciated, and every dollar will be used to ensure that every child in our community is afforded the chance to attend the safe and wonderful programs that the Wyomissing Recreation Board offers.
