Wyomissing, PA - The Borough of Wyomissing's Recreation Department is delighted to invite the community to a magical evening under the stars as part of our "Movies In The Park" series. On Saturday, September 23rd, 2023, join us at Wyomissing Hills Memorial Park, located at 53 Valley Road in Wyomissing, for an outdoor screening of Disney's timeless animated classic, "The Little Mermaid."
The evening promises to be a memorable one, filled with family-friendly entertainment and a touch of Disney magic. Festivities will kick off at 5:30 PM with a captivating performance by the talented Wyomissing Band, who will be serenading us with beloved songs from the movie, setting the stage for a memorable evening.
This community event is made possible through the generous sponsorship of the Wyomissing Hills Citizens Social Committee, whose commitment to fostering community bonds is truly commendable. As a token of appreciation to our attendees, the Social Committee will be offering free popcorn to all moviegoers.
But the treats don't stop there! KONA ICE and SWEET RIDE ICE CREAM will be on site with their delectable treats, ensuring there's something sweet for everyone to enjoy. It's an opportunity to savor delightful flavors and cool off under the evening sky.
For our younger guests, there will be exciting activities and a chance to let their imaginations run wild. Encourage your kids to dress up as their favorite characters from "The Little Mermaid" and join in the enchantment.
