Swimming Lessons 2024 • Register • View Cart •

Discover the joy of swimming with our instructional lessons at the
Wyomissing Pool. Our instructors cater to all skill levels for a fun and
supportive learning experience.

Lesson Dates:

Session I | June 17 through June 28
Session II | July 1 through July 12
Session III | July 15 through July 26

All session are Monday through Friday – these are group lessons, the Borough does not offer individual or private swimming lessons.

Registration Fees:
$115 - Pool Members
$125 - Resident / Non-Pool Members

* Swimming lessons are non-refundable.

Only those individuals participating in the lessons are permitted in the pool during instructional periods. All parents must stay above the deck during this period. Registration is limited to one swim session per summer. However, the same child may enroll in a second session at a later date, if there is a vacancy or your child will be put on a stand-by list.


There will be a limit of 6 Children per Level, per time slot.   The Swim Levels are as follows:

Level 1 is generally ages 3 to 7 with no swim experience or minimal swim experience.

Level 2 is generally ages 6 to 8 who can swim freestyle for 5 yards without putting their feet down and can float for at least 5 sec.

Level 3 is generally ages 8 and up, who can swim at least 10 yards of freestyle without putting their feet down, and 5 yards of backstroke without putting their feet down and can float for at least 7-10 sec.

Level 4 is generally ages 8 and up who can swim at least 15 yards of freestyle without putting their feet down and 10 yards of backstroke and 5 yards of breaststroke.  They should also be able to tread water for 10 seconds and float for 15 seconds.

Level 1:
Level 1 is generally ages 3 to 7 with no swim experience or very little swim experience
