The world’s biggest game is coming to Wyomissing on the big screen.
The Wyomissing Area Soccer Club, in conjunction with the Wyomissing Recreation Department, will host a free World Cup Match Watch Party on Friday, June 12, as the United States Men’s National Team takes on Paraguay in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The
match is scheduled for 9:00 PM, with gates opening at 7:00 PM.
The event will be held at the Wyomissing Quarry Soccer Complex, located at 2001 Old Wyomissing Road, where the match will be shown on a giant inflatable screen under the night sky. Fans are encouraged to arrive early, wear their red, white, and blue, and enjoy music, games, concessions, and pre-match excitement before the first whistle.
The matchup brings together the Stars and Stripes and Paraguay’s La Albirroja, setting the stage for a night of international soccer, hometown pride, and community fun. Whether you call it soccer, futbol, football, or “that other sport,” the viewing party is designed for everyone — serious supporters, casual fans, families, players, coaches, and neighbors looking for a fun night out.
The watch party also connects to the Borough’s broader 2026 theme, Wyomissing Celebrates America’s 250th, bringing together patriotic spirit and the global excitement of the beautiful game.
WASC will have the concession stand open throughout the evening, with music and games leading up to the match. The event is free and open to the public.
