Celebrate America’s birthday with the Borough of Wyomissing at our Independence Day Parade & Celebration on Saturday, July 4th.
This year’s celebration takes on even greater meaning as Wyomissing joins communities across the country in celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary. As part of Wyomissing Celebrates America’s 250th, we invite residents, families, friends, neighbors, and visitors to gather for one of Wyomissing’s most beloved hometown celebrations.
The parade will wind its way through the heart of Wyomissing, featuring colorful floats, spirited marching bands, decorated bikes, local organizations, community groups, and plenty of red, white, and blue along the way. Whether you are marching, riding, decorating, cheering from the curb, or watching from your favorite front-yard spot, the Wyomissing 4th of July Parade is one of those special mornings that brings generations together.
Following the parade, the celebration continues at the iconic Stone House with music by the Wyomissing Band, classic activities, community favorites, and plenty of reasons to stay, laugh, compete, and celebrate. From the annual pie-eating competition to the Rubber Ducky Regatta supporting the Wyomissing Public Library, the day is filled with the sights, sounds, and memories that make the 4th of July in Wyomissing so special.
In Wyomissing, every generation has a story — and Independence Day is one of the days those stories are made. It is the families lining the streets, the kids waving flags, the neighbors catching up, the house parties, the decorated porches, and the memories that keep bringing people back year after year.
