Wyomissing Summer Playground Program 2026 - Happy Hollow Playground-MORNING
Welcome to the Wyomissing Summer Playground Program – where the spirit of summer comes alive. With a dynamic and engaging setting, the program is designed to get your children out of the house, active, and immersed in a world of fun and excitement. Our program is crafted with the goal of enriching the physical and social development of our youngsters, ensuring a safe, supervised environment, and delivering age-appropriate activities during specified playground hours.At the heart of our Summer Playground Program is a dedicated staff committed to creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants. As your children embark on this adventure, they’ll not only learn new skills but also build confidence and form lasting friendships.Children enrolled in the Tot Lot Program must be 5 years old by February 1, 2026, and must have successfully completed a kindergarten program by June 1, 2026. Tot Lot is designed specifically for children ages 5 to 6 and requires kindergarten completion prior to the start of the program. There are no exceptions to these requirements, as they are governed by Pennsylvania Department of Human Services regulations for playground programs. Children participating in the Playground Program must be 7 years old by September 1, 2026, in accordance with these same state guidelines. This inclusive program challenges a wide range of participants of all ages and athletic abilities. While it’s high intensity, the class is accessible to everyone, ensuring each participant gets a workout tailored to their level.This class integrates high-intensity interval training (HIIT), advanced cardio, strength training, and plyometrics—all in the water!Led by Sherri Freifelder, a licensed Zumba Specialty Instructor and AEA Certified Aquatic Fitness Professional with years of wellness experience, S'WET™ breaks the mold of traditional water fitness. Whether you're looking to build strength, improve endurance, or just have fun, this low-impact, high-intensity workout is perfect for all ages, abilities, and genders. Join the aquatic adventure that transforms water fitness into a dynamic, total-body challenge!Classes start on June 17th and will be heldevery Wednesday's at the Wyomissing Pool at 6:00 pm. Each session cost is $11 - ( cash only ) and you pay for each session at the front desk upon entering. This is an outdoor class that is weather dependent. Wyomissing Summer Playground Program 2026 - Hills Playground-MORNING
Welcome to the Wyomissing Summer Playground Program – where the spirit of summer comes alive. With a dynamic and engaging setting, the program is designed to get your children out of the house, active, and immersed in a world of fun and excitement. Our program is crafted with the goal of enriching the physical and social development of our youngsters, ensuring a safe, supervised environment, and delivering age-appropriate activities during specified playground hours.At the heart of our Summer Playground Program is a dedicated staff committed to creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants. As your children embark on this adventure, they’ll not only learn new skills but also build confidence and form lasting friendships.Children enrolled in the Tot Lot Program must be 5 years old by February 1, 2026, and must have successfully completed a kindergarten program by June 1, 2026. Tot Lot is designed specifically for children ages 5 to 6 and requires kindergarten completion prior to the start of the program. There are no exceptions to these requirements, as they are governed by Pennsylvania Department of Human Services regulations for playground programs. This inclusive program challenges a wide range of participants of all ages and athletic abilities. While it’s high intensity, the class is accessible to everyone, ensuring each participant gets a workout tailored to their level.This class integrates high-intensity interval training (HIIT), advanced cardio, strength training, and plyometrics—all in the water!Led by Sherri Freifelder, a licensed Zumba Specialty Instructor and AEA Certified Aquatic Fitness Professional with years of wellness experience, S'WET™ breaks the mold of traditional water fitness. Whether you're looking to build strength, improve endurance, or just have fun, this low-impact, high-intensity workout is perfect for all ages, abilities, and genders. Join the aquatic adventure that transforms water fitness into a dynamic, total-body challenge!Classes start on June 17th and will be heldevery Wednesday's at the Wyomissing Pool at 6:00 pm. Each session cost is $11 - ( cash only ) and you pay for each session at the front desk upon entering. This is an outdoor class that is weather dependent. Wear your bathing suit, and water shoes are strongly recommended. Bring a water bottle!

The final concert of the Wyomissing Summer Concert Series will take place on Wednesday evening, August 5th, at 7:00 PM on the Stone House Lawn, featuring the historic Ringgold Band and the Annual Children’s Lantern Parade.For generations, this special evening has helped mark the close of the Summer Playground Program and that familiar turn in the season when summer is still here, but school is just around the corner. It is part concert, part community gathering, part childhood memory, and one of those hometown moments that seems to glow a little brighter each year.The Ringgold Band, based in Reading, traces its remarkable history back to 1852 and is one of the oldest community bands in America. With more than 170 years of music behind them, their performances carry a wonderful sense of history, pride, and tradition. Their program often includes familiar classics, spirited marches, show tunes, overtures, and concert band favorites that fill the park with the kind of sound that feels both grand and welcoming.As the evening settles over the Stone House Lawn, children from the Summer Playground Program will gather with their lanterns, each one a small glowing reminder of another summer of games, friendships, laughter, and memories. Then, led by the music of the Ringgold Band, the children will parade proudly around the pond for one of Wyomissing’s most cherished summer traditions.It is a beautiful way to close the concert season, celebrate our playground families, and enjoy one more summer evening together before backpacks, bus stops, and school schedules return.Pack a picnic, bring your lawn chairs and blankets, and come early to enjoy the atmosphere. The Ringgold Band, the lanterns, the Stone House Lawn, and a summer night in the park — it does not get much more Wyomissing than that.

Splish, splash… it’s a late-night pool bash!
Join us at the Wyomissing Pool on Friday, August 7th, for one of the most anticipated pool nights of the season — MIDNIGHT SWIM!
The pool will be open from 8:00 PM to MIDNIGHT, giving families, friends, and pool-goers a chance to enjoy a special late-night swim under the lights.
Whether you’re jumping in for one last splash before summer starts winding down, hanging out with friends, or just enjoying the atmosphere of a warm August night, Midnight Swim is always a favorite Wyomissing Pool tradition.
Admission is just $6.00 for Pool Members and $8.00 for Resident Non-Members and Guests.
To help cut down on lines at the gate, Moonlight Swim bracelets can be purchased at the pool front desk in advance.
