To answer some of your questions more clearly, we have come up with a list of frequently asked questions regarding pool membership and how the pool will be operated this year. This list of FAQs will be updated periodically.

Q: Will I need to sign up for a reservation spot every time I want to go to the pool?
A: Yes, current guidance limits the total pool facility capacity to 50% of its total occupancy limit. The number of people allowed into the pool facility at one time is 430 members and 22 staff. The total number of swimmers allowed in the pool at one time is 150, 30 swimmers in each of the 5 zones.  As guidance changes for better or worse, we will adjust those numbers. If guidance allows OR we find we are not coming anywhere close to 452 total members and staff consecutively in the pool, we will eliminate the need for reservations.

Q: Will the snack bar be open?
A: At the April 20th Recreation Board meeting, a motion was made to recommend to Borough Council to open the snack bar for the 2021 season. If Borough Council agrees with the Recreation Boards' recommendation, the snack bar will be open, and pre-packaged foods will be served.

Q: Will the diving board and slide be open?
A: We are considering opening the slide and diving boards if guidance allows.

Q: Will guests be allowed?
A: Access to the pool will only be granted to Borough residents who have an active membership.

Q: Will Swim Lessons and Swimnastics be offered this year?
A: Yes, both swim lessons and swimnastics will be offered. You must sign up for each activity using your MyRec account.
