News: Wyomissing Pool Opening Delay

As you've seen, we've had an extremely wet April and May, and unfortunately, the Wyomissing Pool will not be opening for Memorial Day Weekend due to unexpected weather conditions and subsequent renovation delays.  

Despite our best efforts and meticulous planning, unforeseen weather disruptions have hindered the progress of the approved safety upgrades and renovations at the pool   Regrettably, these delays are entirely beyond our control, and we share your disappointment in this situation.  

Our priority is to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our members, which is why we have taken every precaution to guarantee that the pool meets the highest standards of safety and quality before opening it to it's members and guests.  We appreciate you patience and understanding as we work diligently to complete the necessary improvements.  

We understand the inconvenience this may cause and we want to assure you that we are committed to minimizing any further delays.  Our new target for the opening is Saturday, June 8t.  We are incredibly excited about the upgrades we are making and cannot wait for the season to officially kick in.  

Furthermore, both the Borough Council and Finance Committee are actively investigating the possibility of offering a rebate or reimbursement to our members in light of the delayed opening.  We recognize the importance of fairness and transparency in such circumstances and will keep you updated on any developments in this regard.
