Get Ready to Make a Splash: Wyomissing’s Movies In The Park Presents Disney’s Original "The Little Mermaid"
Wyomissing, PA — The Wyomissing Parks & Recreation Department is ready to take you on a magical underwater adventure! As part of our beloved Movies In The Park series, we’re thrilled to bring you the timeless classic that made everyone want to be “Part of Your World”— Disney’s "The Little Mermaid"!
On Saturday, August 31st, join us at the Berkshire Heights Playground for an evening of pure enchantment under the stars. Grab your picnic blankets, lawn chairs, and maybe even a dinglehopper or two, because this is one night you won’t want to miss. The movie starts at 8:00 PM, but we recommend arriving early to stake out the perfect spot—after all, who wouldn’t want a front-row seat to the magical world of Ariel, Sebastian, and the gang?

- Admission: Free!
- What to Bring: Picnic blankets, lawn chairs, and a boatload of snacks.
“We couldn’t be more excited to bring this Disney classic to life under the stars,” said Randy McKinley, Director of Recreation for the Borough of Wyomissing. “’The Little Mermaid’ originally came out almost 35 years ago, and it’s still as enchanting as ever. There’s something magical about watching it in the great outdoors. Just be careful—if you see Ursula lurking around, it might be time to grab your popcorn and run!”
So, whether you’re young, young at heart, or somewhere in between, dive into an evening of fun with us. Mark your calendars, invite your friends, and get ready for a night where the seaweed is definitely greener—right here in Wyomissing!
