TWINKLEPALOOZA RETURNS: WYOMISSING’S HOLIDAY HOUSE DECORATING CONTEST
IS BACK AND BRIGHTER THAN EVER!
Wyomissing, PA — It’s time to dig out the extension cords, untangle the lights, and channel your
inner Clark Griswold because TWINKLEPALOOZA, Wyomissing’s ultimate holiday house
decorating contest, is back for another season of festive fun and neighborly competition!
Inspired by the legendary Clark Griswold of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation—you know,
the guy who lit up the neighborhood and nearly caused a power outage—we’re looking for homes
that would make even Cousin Eddie say, “Now that’s classy!”
“Nothing says ‘community spirit’ like a little friendly competition and a whole lot of twinkling
lights,” said Randy McKinley, Director of Recreation for the Borough of Wyomissing. “Every year,
I’m blown away by the creativity and effort our residents put into their displays. So, let’s see those reindeer, inflatable Santas, and synchronized light shows—we’re ready to be dazzled!”
To register or nominate someone, please send an email to rmckinley@wyomissingboro.org with
your name, street address, and contact number or email address.
Registration is open now, with judging set to take place on Friday, December 22. Winners
will be announced on Saturday, December 23—just in time to kick off your holiday
celebrations with style and bragging rights!
Our Recreation Board "elves" will be out scouting the neighborhoods in search of the brightest
and most festive displays. Winning houses will be honored with Santa Sacks full of goodies and
even better, bragging rights for the entire year!
Last year, the holiday spirit was truly alive as Wyomissing homes sparkled with creativity and
cheer. This year, we’re raising the stakes. So, grab those 250 strands of lights and create a display that’ll make the Griswolds proud.
Let’s light up Wyomissing together!
