Registration Opens January 15th
As the cold settles in, it’s hard not to daydream about warm days filled with sunshine, games, and the course… popsicles at the playgrounds. The Wyomissing Summer Playground Program is just around the corner, and we’re thrilled to keep this beloved Borough tradition alive for another generation. For decades, this program has been a cornerstone of summer fun in Wyomissing, with countless community parents, and even grandparents cherishing their playground memories. Now it’s time for your kids to add their chapter to this rich history!
Last year, our goal was simple… institute a “Best Day Ever” mentality. We’ve taken your feedback from last year’s questionnaire to heart and are planning another summer filled with fun, creativity, and unforgettable memories. From weekly themes to exciting activities, we’re committed to giving your children a safe and enjoyable experience. Understanding and listening to your concerns, we’re excited to announce that we’ve added an extra week to the schedule, making this year’s program a full nine weeks of summer fun!
We’re thrilled to announce that registration for the 2025 program will open tomorrow, January 15, 2025, exclusively on WyomissingRec.com .
Program Dates:
Monday, June 9th through Friday, August 8th
Locations:
Happy Hollow Playground and Wyomissing Hills Memorial Park and Playground
Age Groups:
Tot Lot: Ages 5 and 6 – and must have completed Kindergarten
Playground: Ages 7 through 12
Volunteers: Ages 13 through 15
Program Rates for 2025:
Unfortunately, with rising costs for supplies, materials, and other essentials, we’ve had to make a slight adjustment to our rates this year. This decision wasn’t made lightly, but it’s necessary to ensure we can continue providing a high-quality program with dedicated, well-trained staff who make each day special for your children.
The updated rates are as follows:
- Tot Lot: $155 per child
- AM Playground: $155 per child
- PM Playground: $85 per child
We remain committed to keeping this program as accessible as possible. If your child attends the Wyomissing School District and your family may need assistance, please visit the Spartan Fund Grant through the Wyomissing Area Educational Foundation to apply for support.
