Volunteering Is More Than Just Lending A Hand

We’re excited to invite you to an upcoming community cleanup event on Sunday, April 27th, from 12:30 to 2:00 PM, hosted by the Borough of Wyomissing in partnership with students from the Wyomissing Junior/Senior High School's Service Club. This is a great opportunity to give back to the community and help keep our town looking its best! The cleanup will take place along the highway service road on Route 422 from State Hill Road heading west toward Penn Avenue.

Volunteers should meet at 12:15 PM in the Boscov’s lower-level parking lot at the Berkshire Mall, across from Greenwood Mall. We will provide gloves, trash bags, and safety vests—just wear sturdy shoes and bring your enthusiasm! If you have any questions or would like to register, please call Mary Ann Reardon at 610-670-5266 and leave a message. Registering helps us keep everyone informed in case of inclement weather.

Volunteering is more than just lending a hand—it’s about strengthening our community and leading by example. By stepping up to help, you’ll not only make an immediate impact on keeping Wyomissing clean, but you’ll also inspire the next generation. Our high school students will be joining us, and your participation will show them the value of civic responsibility and taking pride in where we live.

We hope you’ll join us for this rewarding event. Follow us on our social media pages for updates, and we look forward to seeing you there!

Thank you for helping make Wyomissing a cleaner, better place for everyone!
