Where traditions, memories, and community come together in Wyomissing
The Borough of Wyomissing is proud to announce the release of the 2026 Wyomissing Parks & Recreation Guide — your go-to resource for discovering the programs, events, and activities that bring our community together all year long.
Packed with familiar traditions and exciting opportunities, the 2026 Guide highlights everything from seasonal celebrations and family events to youth programs, fitness offerings, outdoor adventures, and community gatherings. Whether you’re planning summer days at the pool, fall walks through the Parklands, movie nights under the stars, or taking part in one of Wyomissing’s many beloved traditions, the Recreation Guide is designed to help you make the most of life in the Borough.
This year’s edition also showcases growing and evolving programs, including the return of community favorites like Touch A Truck, Pumpkin People of Wyomissing, Movies in the Park, the Fall Walk Series, and the Spooky Hollow Halloween Carnival, along with long-standing staples such as the Summer Playground Program, instructional recreation programs, and holiday celebrations. Residents will also find detailed information on registration, age requirements, and important program guidelines.
A special highlight of the 2026 Guide is Wyomissing’s Independence Day Parade and Celebration, as the community comes together to commemorate the 250th anniversary of our nation’s independence — a milestone year that promises to be filled with pride, tradition, and unforgettable moments.
The Recreation Guide reflects what Wyomissing is all about: connection, community pride, and shared experiences that bring neighbors together — from long-time residents to those new to the Borough.
The 2026 Wyomissing Parks & Recreation Guide is available online at WyomissingREC.com, with printed copies mailed to your residence as well as available at Borough Hall while supplies last. Residents are encouraged to review the guide, mark their calendars, and stay connected by following Wyomissing Parks & Recreation on social media for the latest updates and announcements.
Thank you, we look forward to seeing you at our events.
